Dr. Minliang Liu is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020, and B.Eng. degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2015. His research interests lie primarily at the intersection of cardiovascular biomechanics, computational modeling, and machine learning. Dr. Liu¡¯s research has been funded by the American Heart Association, and his work has been published in top mechanics journals, including Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids, and Acta Biomaterialia. He has received several prestigious awards and recognitions, including the Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Best Ph.D. Thesis award, the American Heart Association Predoctoral Fellowship, and the American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship. |
